As many of you know, my mom is currently in the hospital fighting several health issues.

Her pneumonia is improving but she is still having tests run to find the cause of the blood infection and more imaging is being done on her back. The blood infection will require a minimum of 3 weeks of antibiotics through IV. Depending on the cause of the blood infection, we could be looking at 6 to 8 weeks of IV antibiotics.

They also have suggested a rehabilitation center to help strengthen her back to avoid surgery.
