Parikshit's Medical Expenses Fund

On April 18th, 2019, it was as if our whole family’s world darkened and came to an abrupt stop!

Suddenly and without warning, our beloved, Parikshit Dahal, a 7-year-old family member, was tragically struck by a truck while crossing the street with his mom and younger sibling.  This left his entire body critically traumatized and as close to death as physically possible.
 
As Parikshit suffered life-threatening injuries he bravely fought to overcome the following traumatizing bodily harm:  


·       Extensive brain injuries,

·       Subdural and epidural hematoma

·       Multiple broken ribs

·       Bilateral pelvic fracture

·       Bilateral mandibular fracture

·       Internal bleeding and injuries

·       And a full-body road rash (from being dragged underneath the truck for several undetermined feet)

 
However, miraculously, Parikshit was able to sustain his bodily injuries, via the prayers of the community and the blessings and amazing medical care that he received from the house staff of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.  Therefore, thankfully, we the family, are able to witness a steady, but long, progression to recovery.         


We want to say that Parikshit has an amazing support system of friends & family who are tenacious in actively coordinating a heartfelt fundraising campaign in order to greatly assist the Dahal family in the extensive and ongoing medical costs they are incurring in this emotional time of need.


Our precious Parikshit will need to undergo extensive rehab as he makes brave attempts to understand what has happened to him. 


Therefore, we ask that you find a place in your heart to help advocate this campaign and donate whatever you purpose in your heart to give.  Parikshit is a real trooper and your monetary gifs will immensely assist the Dahal family with their medical expenses and the difficult journey that is ahead of them.


Thank you for taking out your precious time to read this plea for assistance and thank you, in advance, for your warm generosity.  With this said, your support will help ease some of the burden and stress that Radha, (mom) and Purusotam, (father) are currently experiencing as they spend inordinate amounts of time with their precious little boy.


In closing, we are equally grateful from the least monetary amount to any undisclosed monetary amount, because we know that each amount was given out of love and concern for a child struggling to heal his body and his mind.
