300,000 steps in 30 days for Wexford Rape Crisis

This is a big goal - to get 1,000 people to donate €4 each in 30 days, can we do it? I hope so

Need to some motivation to stay active during Lockdown 2.0? This may give you just the extra push you need while doing it for a great local charity.

What’s the plan?

To get as many of you as possible to join me in completing 300,000 steps between Friday 13th December 2020 and Sun 13th Dec 2020. That’s 10,000 steps per day. You may do more some days & less other days (even factor in some rest days!) But the goal is to have the 300,000 steps done by the end date which is Sun 13th Dec. A brisk 45 min walk will get you about 7k + steps. An hour walk will get you 9k+. If you have an active job (or spend your day running around after smallies) a shorter walk will get you to your goal

The benefits of doing this challenge will be twofold:

(1) You will be helping yourself keep fit & healthy during this next few weeks both mentally and physically and;
(2) You will be helping a really great local charity build a very important service for the community of Wexford.

What do I have to do?

✅ Complete 10,000 steps every day for 30 days between Friday 13th Nov and Sun 13th Dec 2020

✅ Donate €4 to Wexford Rape Crisis Center and ask your family & friends to also donate. Some of them may even join you!

✅ Track your steps daily in whatever way suits you best- you can chart your journey on your own social media or here on this page to keep each other motivated
