Anthony's Trip to Africa

Help get Anthony Raimo to Tanzania, Africa this Summer! August 12 -23, 2012. The purpose of the trip is to visit the Sinai school and do volunteer work which will include: running a drip irrigation for the power of the school playground, planting gardens and fruit trees to provide a sustainable source of food for years to come to thousands of students for lunches (they currently don't eat anything all day), building a Montessori reading nook in the new library, painting a playground mural and most exciting, Anthony & other students will be teaching the Sinai students!  The school is opening just for the us, there will be no teachers so the students are preparing lesson plans in English, Math, Music, Arts, a workshop on education for the girls of 5-7 grade, holding reading hours in the new nook, and working alongside the students there to plant the garden and orchard.  They will finish the trip with a two night safari in a National Park.

We are raising money for his airfare $1600 (which has graciously been paid for upfront by the volunteer organization but must be repaid to the fund), his visa, and the cost of the trip itself $1500.
