George's medical/living expenses

On Sat Jan 24, 2015 George got up on a rainy Sat morning to start his day. Within the hour his 13 year old son hears him moaning in pain from his bedroom. Paramedics are called and it was determined upon arrival to the hospital his colon had perforated and he was in septic shock. George went into emergency surgery. Doctors worked 2 hours cleaning his stomach cavity. The aftermath of the perforation and septic shock caused many additional problems. His kidneys  shut down and he was put on dialysis, a fever, a heart arrythmia, his blood pressure  After 6 days in ICU he was finally cleared to be transferred to a less critical unit.  Then on Feb 1, 2015 his colon perforated in another spot.  He was rushed into another surgery this time it was a 5 hr procedure to bypass the entire colon.  George is the primary provider for the family. We live a very modest life,  We dont have credit cards or a McMansion but with him not working we are in a terrifying financial situation.  His recovery expectation is now 10-12 months and he is now facing 2 more surgeries.   Your assistance in his medical bills/living expenses no matter how small are appreciated greatly by the family. We have never asked for money this way before but we need assistance to keep the home and the lights on and just get thru the next 12 months.  Please whatever you can do will make a difference.
