Hi everyone!
My name is Kwaneya and I'm asking for your help to help me take the first steps to begin what I've chosen to be my life long journey.

For those of you who don't know, medical anthropology is a science that draws upon social, cultural, and biological factors which influence health and well-being for people around the world. I have recently been accepted into a summer field school through Georgia State Univeristy to study these factors in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!! For a month, I'll be working side by side with local health agencies and education institutions to help facilitate ongoing projects directly from the city.

I've been saving every penny I can, but I'm also requesting the help from my family, friends, and peers, for assistance in gaining my first international experience.

The cost of this program, summer school tuition, and roundtrip airfare are included in my total goal amount of $4500.00. Remember, NO donation is too small. Even sharing my story and spreading the word is helping me! I am humbly grateful for any and every contribution toward my campaign.
