College Fund

My name is Brooke Blakemore and I am making this account in hopes of a chance for my college education. I am currently not a student in any college or university, and with the current pandemic, it is extremely hard to find work in a safe environment. My education is the most essential element of my life at 21. To whoever reads my story, please understand that I am still a young adult with no real liability or credit to my name.
In August of 2018, I was a transfer student from Tuskegee University, going to attend Indiana State University.  I applied as an independent student at both universities. I had to write a letter at both universities explaining why I wanted to be independent. Tuskegee approved of the letters I sent, understanding that I did not have any financial support from my parents or any adults. Indiana State was completely opposite.
I spoke with serval financial assistance at Indiana State, and it seemed as if no one knew what documents I actually needed.  By the end of the semester I had turned in 3 letters, and tax information. My letters were denied, and my tax information was never given to the Board of Education. I am now left with owing Indiana State $12,180. Until I make the payment in full, ISU will not allow me in classes or release my transcript to attend a different university.
I was a Music Business Major at Indiana State University. Music business is like having a double major, meaning the business classes do not correspond with the music classes.  With this degree, I would like to open serval music studios. I want to create a safe place for people of any age to learn music.  This has been my passion since my high school closed in 2018.
I was a student at Broad Ripple Magnet High School. I attended the school from 6th till 12th grade.  I was apart of many clubs and activities. I was the principal bassist in the orchestra. I was a member of the varsity golf team, swim team, and softball team. I even graduated in the top 10 of my class. Broad Ripple made me a well-rounded person, and now with the school being closed in 2018, I wonder where the talented kids of today will go.  I would like to put my experience into action and create a stable place for others to learn music.
All funds will be going to Indiana State University and any other college expenses I have, such as student loans or ongoing semesters. Any contributions to my education would truly be a blessing. Thank you for your consideration.
