It was a typical Thursday night at the home of my sister and brother in law, Andrea and Kacey Troupe. As they were preparing dinner for their children, Emonie, Kadreanna, Ja’Mya, and Kadyn, a grease fire broke out in their kitchen. Kacey and Andrea immediately took action to protect their children from the raging flames. They were able to protect their children from injury, but Kacey and Andrea suffered 3rd degree burns. The severity of their injuries required them to be airlifted to trauma centers and will require ongoing surgeries.

Andrea and Kacey will be unable to work as they recover from their injuries. Please consider showing your support for them and their children during this time to help with household and medical costs.
