KVG Group is an organisation working to help people with a handicap/disabilty since 1945 (after WW2). After all these years we are an organisation wich represents more then 20 thousand members. (The biggest in Belgium!)
On a daily basis we help people with a disability/handicap to take their lives into their own hands. We provide information about law, rights, and employment. And represent this group of society to the governement. But above all of this, we bring people with a disability together. Organising activities and bringing people together for a good conversation, sharing the good and bad things in life.
Doing this KVG employes people with a disability/handicap into our operations.
To achieve these goals, our founder , Matthieu Van Gorp, Himself a person in a wheelchair, dreamed of a house for his organisation. After his death, finally the organisation raised enough money to buy a house. A house based in Antwerp, Belgium. This house has been the base of operations for many years.
Now the time has come that the organisation is growing larger and stronger. The house is getting older and needs renovations.
Because KVG group is a non-profit, we are fundraising for these renovations so we dont have to cut down on our operations.
We are asking for your generous donations, small or big, so we can continue the work that we have been doing for 75 years. Empowering people with a disability/handicap and giving them a rightfull place in society.
