Medical Brigade to Honduras

As most of you know, for the last two years I have traveled to the Opatoro region of Honduras with the organization Community Health Partnership Honduras (CHP-H) to provide medical care to thousands of adults and children in need.
CHP-H is an incredible organization that combines efforts utilizing both American and Honduran resources to provide ongoing patient care to a region otherwise without access to basic health care needs.

Now try to imagine getting a parasitic infection simply because you do not have access to clean drinking water. Imagine suffering a minor cut at work that resulted in death due to not having access to simple antibiotics. Imagine not being able to feed your children because your crops did not produce that season. These are all situations that Hondurans in this region face on a daily basis. CHP-H works not only to provide physical examinations, medications, wound care, and medical equipment to these people in need, they also provide an abundance of educational classes to improve overall health in these most poverty-stricken regions.
I have seen first hand the lives saved through the work of CHP-H. I have witnessed the smiles and tears of gratitude from a mother who thought their child wouldn't survive an infection due to not having access to clean water. I have seen malnourished children be fed and their mothers provided with education related to local edible plants and herbs. I have seen the joy on an elderly woman's face when she was finally be able to read again after being given a pair of basic reading glasses.
This will be my third year traveling with this organization, and I am again asking for your help. Any donation, no matter how small, could help to save a life. Some of the supplies and medications we bring with us to Honduras are donated, but most are purchased through generous donations, grants, and volunteers.
If you are unable to donate monetarily, please look around your home for any old reading glasses, sunglasses, or hats, as these are desperately needed for eye protection while harvesting crops-- (If you have any of these items please contact me via messenger or email at [email redacted] so I am able to arrange a pick up time).
