Kurt's Medical Bills

Kurt was injured in an accident that ruined his back several years ago.  As the owner of a contracting business and the sole 'employee' it was a matter of keeping the company going or getting surgery immediately.  Being stubborn, he chose to keep on working.  Finally, unable to stand the back pain any longer and under the advice of his orthopaedic surgeon, he scheduled back surgery for late November of 2016.  Having to undergo tests before surgery, it was discovered that he had stage three bladder cancer - meaning the cancer had spread into the wall of the bladder.  He underwent chemotherapy and radiation which did not do the trick.  He then had his bladder completely removed in July 2017.  While in the hospital, he got a sepsis infection and almost died.  The medical bills have been horrendous.  As I also worked for the same business,  scrambling was the word of the year.  The picture shows Kurt & myself - we will  have been married 35 years in September.  Two daughters Claire & Mollie and only grandchild Cal.  I don't think anyone really likes to ask for help, but sometimes life can just overwhelm you. In the past two years, I also had to have a hip and elbow replacement, which of course added to medical expenses.  Any assistance you feel comfortable with, would be so very much appreciated.  This family tends to always be the givers, the helpers; not the receivers.  Thanking you for any donation you feel you can make.
