Hi, my name is Jenna, and I’m fundraising for my sweet rescue kitten, Kuro.

About two months ago, I rescued Kuro and his brother after finding them sick and struggling to survive. Both were battling severe respiratory and eye infections. While Kuro’s brother thankfully made a full recovery, Kuro’s condition was much more serious.

There were many moments we weren’t sure Kuro would make it. I had to syringe-feed him, check on him hourly, and give him constant care to keep him stable. However, Kuro is a fighter, and he managed to pull through.

Unfortunately, despite everything, Kuro’s right eye never healed properly. He now has permanent scarring and a corneal perforation that’s left him blind in that eye. After consulting with our vet, the only option is to remove the eye to prevent further discomfort and infection.

Kuro is a super sweet kitty and has already overcome so much, and I want to give him the chance to live a pain-free, happy life. The surgery, follow-up visits, and medications are expensive, and I’m reaching out for help because I can’t cover it all on my own.
