Diana Shino

In 2012, Diana was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.  Through every challenge in this journey, Diana has steadfastly kept her positive attitude and love of life. Her husband, Tim, has been the rock that she leans on and has been by her side for everything.  Together, they are one strong team.  They have one son, Aris, who is a freshman at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She lives to see Aris wrestle and live his life. Aris gives her the will to fight this and in return, she gives him the inspiration to give life everything he has. She does this for all of us. She has shown her family that life is about enjoying every moment - from work to family. To us, she is the driving force behind everything we do. If you want something done, you always go to Diana.
Recently, Diana has been sick and is receiving lots of blood products.  Her insurance will not cover all the blood products that she has received so she has unexpectedly incurred these extra expenses. A unit of platelets cost $1800.  Even if we wanted to donate platelets to her, the hospital still charges (plus an additional $500 to monitor and ensure they get to only her). So that is not an option. Diana does not have other choices to help her get better - right now she needs blood! Please help with the extra expenses that she has and might continue to have until she no longer needs transfusions.  Diana is always the first to help anyone with anything so let's show that support back to her!  Remember, if we all give a little - it can add up to a lot!
