Please help us help the Dennis Tenney family. Dennis was diagnosed with large cell lymphoblastic lymphoma last year. He went through the chemo treatments and actually went into remission in May. In June Dennis started having the same pain he had previously and knew something was wrong. He went back to the doctor and they discovered the cancer had returned.
The doctors started a new chemo protocol and it caused Dennis to have a heart attack. He was no longer allowed to have the strength of chemo he needed to beat his cancer. The doctors started him on a weaker dose of chemo and it did not do much for him other than make him sick. His cancer has now turned to stage 4.
Dennis has not been able to work for most of the year while he was receiving treatments. He is the bread winner in the family, so this has really put a strain on his finances.
Dennis has always given of himself. He was an auxilliary police officer for North Ridgeville for many years. He has been in charge of the North Ridgeville Boosters for 20 years now making sure the kids in our city have a safe place to play ball in the summer. He made sure there were supplies for the concession stands for every game so you could get the full experience of a ball game, being able to get snacks, hot dogs, and drinks for the games.
Years ago he donated his own burial plot to someone who had a need for one and was not able to purchase one for their family member due to finances.
Dennis is a humble person who never ask anyone for anything, but he always gave what he had even if it hurt his own financial situation. He always put others needs before his own.
