Kuki the Bugg's Oral Surgery Fund

Donation protected

Our amazing senior disabled dog Kuki the Bugg needs oral surgery.  Our vet has given us an estimate between $1329.90-$1783.90, but did state that due to Kuki's age (just over 11) and her dental needs, there is a chance that this estimate could end up being even more.  Along with needing oral surgery/dental care, Kuki also has a small mass on the under portion of her tongue that will need to be addressed (biopsied).  Our vet, Cinder Rock Veterinary Clinic, did inform us that periodontal disease, if left untreated, can cause heart murmurs and possibly lead to heart disease in dogs, and highly recommended Kuki undergo her dental surgery as soon as possible.

We adopted Kuki from an abusive situation a few years ago.  When we got her she struggled to walk even short distances (Kuki was born with a disability in her hind end, mostly effecting her back left leg).  Her toenails were so long that they were growing around and into the pads of her paws.  Her fur was dull and thin.  She had fresh scaring on/in her eye.  Her teeth looked like she was about twice her age.  It appeared that even the most basic of medical care and grooming had not been done.  With lots of vet care, healthy food,  healthy activity, and love, Kuki has become a whole new dog.  She has thick, shiny fur.  Can walk normal distances, and even run when she wants to.  She is now a healthy weight.  The biggest issues Kuki is suffering with right now is dental/periodontal disease and under tongue mass.

Kuki is our amazing little Bugg princess and we don't want her to be in pain or end up having heart issues  due to us not being able to afford the surgery she needs, so we are humbled in asking for assistance.  Kuki adds so much happiness to our lives every day, we want her to be as healthy and happy as can be for as long as possible.  Any amount donated will help, as will sharing Kuki's funding page.

**In the photos we have included the CORE Plus Procedure K9 Treatment Plan from our vet.  We've also included a copy of how their general anesthesia works (which can be very scary with a brachycephalic dog and a senior dog), and the different equipment they use when doing surgery on the dog.
