Wir gehen neue Wege auf unserem Bauernhof. Wir lieben Kühe. Wir sehen unsere Kühe als Teil unserer Familie - Wesen mit einer Seele, kein Produkt. Wir möchten einen Unterschied machen für die Kühe, die bei uns sind.
So gut wir es vermögen, möchten wir ihnen ein artgerechtes Leben ermöglichen - auch, wenn wir sie verkaufen und sie den Bauernhof verlassen müssen.
Wir betreiben Mutterkuhhaltung. Normalerweise werden die Kälber dann am Ende des Jahres an einen Händler verkauft.
Ich habe das nicht zugelassen und vermittle die Tiere nur an Bauernhöfe, wo sie gut behandelt werden / einen Lebensplatz haben. Da es nicht so viele davon gibt, ist der Großteil der Kälber im letzten Winter bei uns geblieben und dementsprechend schnell waren die Heuvorräte aufgebraucht.
Wir mussten für viel Geld Heu dazukaufen. Dieses Heu enthielt einen Virus, an dem in diesem Jahr im Frühjahr alle erkrankt sind. 5 Neugeborene und zwei erwachsene Kühe starben und wir haben die Tierarztrechnung von fast 4000 Euro noch nicht bezahlt.
Seit Monaten regnet es kaum und die Kühe haben jetzt fast nichts mehr zu essen. Daher sind wir gezwungen, die Jungbullen und ein paar ältere Kühe an den Händler zu verkaufen.
Ich sammle die Spenden, um Heu/Silage zu kaufen, damit wir
1. ihnen genügend Nahrung anbieten können
2. Zeit gewinnen, die Neuen Wege fortzuführen und die Kälber an gute Bauernhöfe zu verkaufen.
Ich habe das Crowdfunding noch nie ausprobiert und reagiere damit auf die Bitten und das "Mutmachen" von Freunden, die mich vom Sinn des Crowdfunding überzeugt haben.
Stellvertretend stehe ich hier für alle Tiere, insbesondere Kühe auf der ganzen Welt, die durch die Nahrungsmittelindustrie unsägliche Leiden ertragen müssen.
Ich möchte einen Unterschied machen und mit meinem Tun auch andere dazu ermuntern, einen neuen Weg einzuschlagen. Viele haben nicht den Mut, dies zu tun.

Ich kann nicht beschreiben, wie das Gefühl war, als vorgestern eine Frau aus England von mir las, die mich gar nicht kennt und sofort Kontakt aufnahm und nach meiner Paypaladresse fragte.
Ich bin unendlich berührt von dem Mitgefühl, das uns entgegengebracht wird. Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich nun ein paar Tage gebraucht, um dieses Vorhaben umzusetzen und mir zu "erlauben", um Hilfe zu bitten.
Danke an jeden, der uns in dieser Notlage hilft und dazu beiträgt, dass wir die Kühe nach der Dürrezeit ausreichend versorgen können und der diesen "Neuen Weg" unterstützt, zu dem es Zeit, Geduld, Geld und viel Durchhaltevermögen braucht.
Danke im Namen unserer Kühe und aller Kühe, die es verdient haben, ein Leben nach ihrer Art im Gleichklang mit Natur und Mensch zu führen und dass ihnen Respekt für ihre Art und ihr Sein entgegengebracht wird.

We go new ways on our farm. We love cows. We see our cows as part of our family - beings with a soul, not a product. We want to make a difference for the cows that are with us.
As much as we can, we want to enable them to live a species-appropriate life - even if we sell them and they have to leave the farm.
We operate suckler cow husbandry. Normally the calves are then sold to a dealer at the end of the year.
I did not allow this and only give the animals to farms where they are well treated / have a place to live. Since there are not that many of them, most of the calves stayed with us last winter and the hay stores were used up quickly.
We had to buy hay for a lot of money. This hay contained a virus that all have fallen ill this spring. 5 newborns and 2 adult cows died and we have not paid the vet bill of almost 4000 Euro yet.
It has not been raining for months and the cows have almost nothing left to eat. Therefore, we are forced to sell the young bulls and some older cows to the dealer.
I collect the donations to buy hay / silage so we can
1. be able to offer them enough food
2. Gain time, continue the new ways and sell the calves to good farms.
I have never tried crowdfunding, responding to requests and "encouraging" from friends who have convinced me of the importance of crowdfunding.
I stand here representatively for all animals, especially cows all over the world, who have to endure untold suffering through the food industry.
I want to make a difference and encourage others to embark on a new path. Many do not have the courage to do this.

I can not describe how the feeling was when the day before yesterday a woman from England read from me, who does not know me at all and immediately contacted and asked for my PayPal address.
I am eternally touched by the compassion that is brought to us. Honestly, it took me a few days to implement this project and "allow" me to ask for help.
Thank you to everyone who helps us in this plight and helps us to provide the cows with enough after the drought and supports this "New Way", which takes time, patience, money and a lot of staying power.
Thank you in the name of our cows and all the cows who deserve to lead a life of their kind in harmony with nature and man and that they are respected for their nature and their being.
