Help Us Recover

As many of you know, our business was robbed in February. Our brand new concessions trailer was stolen. A kettle was inside as well as supplies and equipment.

At the time, we received many offers of sympathy and help. We hoped we could get by until our new trailer was ready to pick up and relaunch. We hoped to bounce back. But as the season wore on it became harder. Our revenue was drastically decreased while our operational expenses increased. To put it in perspective, a permit for our trailer is $300 per year...and a permit for our tent unit is $30 per day. Losing the kettle meant we couldn't "double up" on contracts and events.

Although insurance reimbursed some lost value, we have a lot to make up. We are building a new kettle from scratch, have to replace equipment and supplies, and pick up and re-launch the new trailer. 

So we really could use all the help we can get. We have a solid business model and strategic vision. We were growing. We need your help to get back on track. We hope you know that we value any help we are given, and work very hard to make the most of any help or opportunity.

Incentives!
If we reach our goal, Joe will cut his hair (over two feet) and donate it on behalf of the person who gives the greatest contribution.
For regional donations of at least $500, Joe's Family Kettle will come pop at your next event (birthday, etc).
For donations of at least $100, Lila will prepare individually packaged bags of kettle or caramel corn this holiday season and ship them to you for you to give out.
