Right now, an ethnic group called the Rohingya, are escaping violence and religious oppression in Myanmar by crossing the border into Bangladesh. They need food, shelter and medical care.
Dr. Katie Woods is going to Bangladesh on January 5th, 2018 for approximately 10 days where she will be volunteering as a doctor with an international aid group called MedGlobal. The money will be used for travel costs and as direct aid to purchase food and medicine for the refugees.
