Hello! My name is Crystal, and my close friend Hailee is going through an incredibly rough time. Her basement flooded during the heavy storms about three weeks ago, and since then it has all gone downhill. They had sewage coming out of their drains, after already having dealt with the flood water in the basement. They had to hire a plumber to come out after they handled the flood water themselves. Their hot water tank isn’t working, so the family hasn’t had any hot water for almost three weeks. Due to the flooding being deepest in the laundry room area, they don’t know if their washer and dryer work. Hailee had to cancel the makeup artist for her wedding next month to make sure her house is livable for herself, her fiancé, her daughter, and her puppy. I am starting this fundraiser to hopefully take some of the burden off their backs, and allow them to be able to fix their hot water heater, as well as go towards anything in the house that needs repairs.
