Chad Weltha. 45, of Jewell Iowa passed away suddenly on Sunday July 14th. He was the son of Floyd and Helen Weltha of Story City. Chad is survived by three daughters, Hannah Eickholt 22 of Okinawa, Alyssa Weltha 16 and Syrenna Weltha 14 of Ames Ia. Chad had 2 brothers, Travis of Jewell and Scott of Story City.
Due to the unexpected death of Chad, no financial funds are available to pay for final services for him. Hannah is Chad's oldest next of kin and is therefore financially responsible for his funral. Hannah's Uncle Travis is helping with expenses but unable to cover all of it.
Hannah has been in the Navy for four years since graduating from high school. She is now under the emotional strain of losing her father, having the financial distress of traveling back home and now preparing to unite with her sisters as they say their final good byes to their dad.
Travis has taken on the responsibility of funeral preparations until Hannah gets home. With the costs of the funeral and other immediate expenses, any financial help to alleviate these unexpected costs would be greatly appreciated.
