Hello everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that I share some heartbreaking news about our dear friend, Hannah Milano Blais. At just 30 years young, she has been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer on 2/9/24. She has begun weekly chemotherapy which will last for six months, followed by a double mastectomy and possible radiation. Despite this diagnosis, Hannah's strength, resilience, and unwavering positivity continue to shine through. She is ready to face this battle head-on, with determination and courage.
Some of you may know Hannah from her hometown of Pleasanton, CA, where many of her friends and family, including her parents, still reside. Now living in New Hampshire, she is the loving wife of her preschool sweetheart, Austin, and the devoted mother of her beautiful 18-month-old daughter, Teegan. Despite the distance, those of us on the West Coast want to ensure that Hannah receives all the help and support she needs from afar.
Hannah is cherished by all as a caring and thoughtful friend, whose presence brightens the lives of those around her. She's also a dedicated mental health counselor, and works as a Psychiatric Resource Specialist at Boston's Children's Hospital, providing compassionate care and guidance to children and families facing mental health challenges.
Despite the hurdles that lie ahead, including her own health battle, Hannah remains committed to the well-being of her patients. She will continue to work as long as she's physically able, and her unwavering dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others, while facing her own adversities, is truly inspiring.
As you can imagine, the road ahead will be challenging, both emotionally and financially. By coming together as a community, we can help provide the support and resources Hannah needs to focus on her health and family during this difficult time. Your contributions will go directly towards covering medical expenses, easing the financial strain of lost wages, ensuring Teegan receives the care she needs, and assisting with transportation to and from appointments.
No donation is too small, and every contribution makes a meaningful impact. Whether you're able to donate financially or simply share Hannah's story with others, your support is deeply appreciated.
Let's stand together with Hannah as she bravely fights this battle. Together, we can provide her with the resources she needs to ease the burden of this challenge and emerge even stronger on the other side.
