Kicks 4 Caribya is a non-profit aimed at improving the livelihoods of underprivileged communities in the Caribbean.
We are here to show that environmental protection and economic growth are not mutually exclusive ideas. By providing underprivileged communities in the Caribbean with the necessary resources to maintain athletic programs, the economic isolation of regions such as South Caicos will be reduced by novel capital flow from neighboring communities. In turn, the addition of outside capital will reduce the need to overexploit local resources. It is a simple idea with an extremely powerful end product.
Our goal is to establish an infrastructure of athletic associations throughout environmentally vulnerable islands that will increase capital flow. This increase in capital flow will reduce the need of environmental exploitation among the islands.
We are partnering with sport teams and organizations throughout the US - such as college athletic teams - to collect used sport equipment that we will send to our contact in the Caribbean. In addition, we are collecting donations in order to cover shipping costs, as well as purchase bigger items like goals, balls, or basketball hoops.
Your donations will help improve both the lives of citizens living in the Caribbean and establish firms grounds for environmental preservation. Kicks 4 Caribya (K4C) is completely funded through donations. No contribution is too small! Thank you for your support.
