Spontaneous Triplet Blessing

Donation protected

We are hoping you will help our daughter and son-in-law with medical and/or travel expenses and prayers.

Our daughter’s journey to parenthood is finally coming true. Her husband, Lance, is active duty in the Navy and an Iraq War Veteran.  Lauren, a Registered Nurse, was told she could no longer work due to the fact she was pregnant with triplets! This is truly a blessing after all they have been through in an effort to create a family.

They have been trying to have a family for 3 years and have suffered 4 miscarriages. They have seen baby’s heartbeats on monitors and been excited to be pregnant, only to have their hopes dashed time and time again. They have sought treatment with fertility specialist to try and figure out why they continued to have miscarriages and both went through multiple medical procedures, which yielded no medical answers.  They tried 3 rounds of fertility treatments, but no luck.

The last miscarriage left Lauren so broken. She didn’t understand why God would let this happen to her yet again. Her whole life she wanted to be a mommy and that just seemed so unreachable at that point. They decided they would quit trying for a while and maybe try IVF the next year after taking a break.

She started praying. She decided to let it go and leave it up to God. She began focusing on getting herself healthy – both mentally and physically. A few months later, she was pregnant, and not with one, but with triplets – with no fertility drugs or medical assistance. They feel like it is God’s way of giving them back some of the babies they have lost.

Due to their remote location, she must travel about 2 hours to a specialist 2 times a week for ultrasounds to monitor a condition that may worsen and required surgery on one to two of the babies at a moment’s notice.  They are stationed across the country away from all their family and friends.  Lauren will most likely be put on bed-rest in a special hospital that is far from their home. The triplets, baby A (Aiden), baby B (Graham), and baby C (Cameron), will most likely be pre-mature and spend a great deal of time in the NICU, which is also far from their home. They will be spending lots of time and money traveling back and forth or even living closer to the hospital temporarily for several months.

We are hoping that if you cannot donate to help them with their travel expenses and future expenses with the babies, you could please offer up prayers for them and the babies for a healthy, full-term pregnancy and delivery.  Thank you and God Bless!
