PG 5th Grade Safety Patrol to D.C.

Donation protected
Hello friends and family,

For the first time in 15 years, we are seeking to send the Pond Gap Safety Patrollers on the AAA trip to Washington, D.C.  These fifth graders work very hard to help our days run smoothly and safely at PGES. They are true role models for the rest of the student body.  This trip is a once in a lifetime chance for many of them and could prove to be life changing!
Unfortunately, the cost of the trip ($450) is too much for most of our families to afford.  The students, staff, PTA, and our partner, The Downtown Rotary Club, are working hard to lower the cost so that the students can have this incredible opportunity!
All students that attend the trip are required to pay at least a portion of the cost, maintain a high level of behavior and work habits grades, participate in fundraising, and complete a research project (on their own time) about one of the sites from the trip itinerary!  The students will share these projects on the evening of March 10 at a spaghetti dinner.  More details and an invitation to the event will be sent to anyone that is able to donate.
No amount is too small!  Please join us in sending a message to our students that we believe in them, support them, and know they deserve this chance!  We appreciate your consideration and time.

Sincerely,

The Pond Gap Elementary School PTA
