Michael Kanu Crime Medical Expenses

On June 11, 2020 I was attacked while walking down the side road of my apartment complex, heading to the quick trip gas station. I m raising money for my medical expenses of been a victim of a racial hate crime. I don't have the money to pay and my insurance is only covering 20 percent of my dental work. And will not be covering my cosmetics surgery work on my lips. I'll have to under surgery in the next couple week. The dentist recommended me to wait and see how my tooth, upper gum and lips are healing. But before I do the surgery, I'll have to do another examination to let me know exactly what is going on and the updated cost. So I pray that the amount that they told me the first time can be reduce by then. Every night, I walk to the quick trip gas station to get me some coffee. I like walking to the quick trip because I use that time to meditate. I stay five mins away from the gas station (walking distance). But it is unfortunate that I was attack this time around. I saw a red car speeding towards me while I was walking on the side walk of the road. The next thing I know a white man hand was coming out of the passenger side. He threw a rock at me and I immediately fell down on the floor and was blackout. When I came back to my consciousness. I was bleeding all over the place. My upper lip was bursted and four of my front tooth was broken. I was scared that the people that did this to me was going to turn around. so I decided to run back home. When I got back home I called my parents to let them what happened and they told me to call the gwinnett county cops to report my case. When the cops arrived I explained what had happened. His first question was do I have anyone that I know will do such a crime to me. I told him no and I said back I just told you what happened to me, why will you ask me if I know anyone that will do this to me? I know that he was doing his job, but at a moment like that why asked a question like that. After going back and forth with questions and answers. He then said there is no camera were the incident took place. If I want to continue the investigation. So at that time I was disappointed and told him to just document it and he said then hesitated to document it as a hate crime assault and I can call back to pursue it as an investigation. I was taking to the emergency room afterwards. When I arrived at the ER. The doctor told me that the way my lip was cut it'll be hard to stitch it all the way through and that I'll need to go see an oral surgeon to do a cosmetics job done to restore my lips. And a dentist to see if my broken teeth can be save. So the next day I had an appointment to see an oral surgeon. He told me that I'll have to do a cosmetics job and an implant on my broken upper front teeth. My gum root is severely damage and there is no way they can save all four tooth. So I decided to call gwinnett county cops again to pursue my case and do an investigation on it. Likewise, they told me there is no camera and it'll be hard to know what took place. I told them I want to know who did this to me cause this is just pure hatred. Eventually it took the news for the police department to fully pursue my case. I received a called from one of the supervisors and he told me that there is a possible camera on where my incident took place. But in my police report it says there is no camera. I never thought that I'll ever be a victim of a racial hate crime. I have always seen human as one people. I have friends in all different background. I'm just a simple easy going guy. We need a change cause we no longer have to continue this way. Normal humans are getting punished for no reasons at all. I am seeking for help to pay for my medical expenses.
