To our loyal supporters: We are in need of monetary donations to be able to continue with our mission, without your help we will have no choice but to close our operation down. Since June 2011 we have saved about 1000 animals, this doesn't include the animals we helped that were sick that the owners couldn't afford vet care, or the animals we have helped by sharing animals from shelters on our page or people posting their animals on our page. We are the group who takes in the ones dumped and alot of those that are dumped are litters not one but entire litters of puppies/kittens, badly injured dogs, hit by cars, have parvo, bacterial infections, ringowrm, mange, etc. Taking in those with these injuries/illnesses have caused our vet bills to sky rocket. Not to mention getting each and every animal up to date on shots, spayed/neutered. We just recently became a 501c3 and are working on grants to help with some of those cases. It also costs us between $200.00 to $300.00 a dog/cat to get it fully vetted and that is if it isn't ill. We only charge $85.00 for adoption fee for dogs and $45.00 for kittens/cats. We also have a small shelter at 902 W Broadway and it costs about $600.00 a month to keep it going. Our hearts our saddened by this but our pockets are empty. None of us want this to happen, this community needs us and we desperately want to continue to help. But without financial support we can no longer help those with no voice. This isn't a job for us at FURever Friends, none of us get paid most of us put in hundreds and thousands of dollars, not to mention the time we put into it . Its our passion, our life and we need you and most importantly the animals need you. Please help us by donating, we not only need donations now to pay off our debt but we also need monthly donors to continue.
