Make Krizia an IHOPU intern!!!

Donation protected
Hello!!! My name is Krizia, I am 22 (23 on Tax Day!) years old and I am an Italian living in Iowa and studying in Nebraska! (Yes, from Italy to "the middle of everywhere", and I love it!!!)

Last summer 2017, God has put a desire in my heart: to minister and encourage people. Since then, I have been looking into a few Christian Colleges and Universities, but the one that stole my heart is IHOPU (International House Of Prayer University) of Kansas City.

I have also been looking for full-ride scholarships, because neither my family or I have the funds to pay for another degree and all that comes with it. Both of my parents are unemployed and I have a very limited amount of savings left. I thought a full-ride scholarship was my only option. Or maybe it was the only way I felt comfortable going about.

I didn't even consider raising my own support because I didn't feel comfortable "asking people for money" until, last December, God said to me: "that's because you see the money as coming from men, when really, it all comes from Me."
Wooh. Alright. So, here I am, on a GoFundMe page!!!

Before going on, I want to tell you a little bit of my journey toward about IHOP, IHOPU, and ultimately the Onething internship that I would love to do.

IHOP is located in Kansas City, Missouri, and they have an incredible and unique culture of non-stop, 24/7 prayer and worship that I have experienced and been impacted by last July of 2017 (here is their website, if you want to check it out! https://www.ihopkc.org/about/.).

When I went to IHOP for the first time, I participated in the “Weekend” program with a friend (I HIGHLY recommend it!!!), and I fell in love with every part of it, especially the prayer room. While I was there, God has confirmed to me that He wants me to do some form of ministry because He has blessed me with some preaching/teaching gift.
Here is a pic of me and my friend Rhonda at the weekend program!:

It was confirming to hear that I am called to some form of ministry, but it was somewhat surprising to hear that I have a preaching/teaching gift. It was surprising because I thought I was inadequate and unequipped, but God has shown me that it is not about me, it’s about Him

While I was at the “weekend” program, I found out and the IHOPU, but I knew nothing about it except that it was a Christian college.

Last December of 2017 I went to the IHOP Onething conference in Kansas City (not to be confused to the previously mentioned Onething internship ) and, while I was there, they announced the opportunity to go on an IHOPU tour!!! I was SO excited. So, I went there, and…friends, I felt Home. I was taken over by an overwhelming Spirit of joy. I attended 3 incredible classes with 3 incredible instructors (2 of which are 2 of my favorite speakers), and, during one of them, God even revealed some things to me that I was struggling with.
Here is a pic of me and Rhonda faithfully together at the Onething conference wearing the 24/7 hats...:

...and one with a couple other friends, Leslie and Rose! (my face looks weird...):

It was SO fun!

I ALSO had the opportunity to take part to an Internship Luncheon. I was just having a great time there exploring all God has to offer! Internships at IHOPU are a way for people to dedicate a season of life completely to the Lord, and to grow in prayer, worship, knowledge of His Word, and so much more! And they also count as the first semester of the Forerunner School of Ministry! Here is the description of the Onething Internship directly from their website:

"The One Thing Internship is a five-month program where young adults can seek the Lord together in the context of a like-minded community. The central place of this internship is our 24/7 prayer room. Interns will also spend time in classes, serve in various capacities around the missions base, participate in small groups, and receive one-on-one discipleship.

The goal of our structure and schedule is to give interns the opportunity to grow in confidence of God’s love for them, as they go deeper in the Word and in prayer. In a generation that is seeking purpose and belonging, we invite you to join others in seeking the “one thing necessary”—to sit at the feet of Jesus and hear His voice.

“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.” (Psalm 27:4)"

The reason why I want to to the Onething Internship is to grow in a deeper and more intimate relationship with my heavenly Father, to learn more about the Bible, and to build a lifestyle of persistence in His Word, prayer, and worship. The Onething internship will impact my life forever. Not only it will equip me for the plans God has for me that I am still unaware of, but it will also equip me to develop and get started on the desires He has already put in my heart. The first desire I had as 2-days-old believer, was to be an interpreter in ministry, to translate Christian books, songs, materials, Bible studies, from English to Italian, and to interpret live sermons and messages. Another specific desire that God has put in my heart is to interpret into Italian the books of a class that has changed my life and set me free from bondage, “The Ultimate Journey.” I have also a desire to be a voice in media, like YouTube. I would live to open a channel where I can just pour out onto others all the love, affirmations, revelations, and truth that I have received. I am currently doing that through the Christ-like life I strive to live each day, along with my Blog, “My Journey”, but I truly desire to do more of a full-time ministry in the days ahead.

Once I will be done with the internship, I will go wherever God opens doors for me to go. I would love to continue at IHOPU with the Forerunner School Of Ministry to get further, more intense and specific training for ministry, but that depends on God’s miraculous financial support. Maybe I will go back to Italy right away and be an interpreter there or do whatever also He will lead me to do; maybe I will really stay in the US and get further training… who knows. His will be done, I trust Him!

Regardless of whatever God has for me, I feel the need, while I am still here in the U.S, to take more time to get prepared and equipped. Of all the incredible opportunities the Lord has been showing me, IHOPU is truly the one that stole my heart.

So, all that said, would you consider linking arms with me, God and the plan He has for me, and be an active and essential part of it?

If you do, you can donate whichever amount that God puts in your heart, anything truly makes a difference!  I will THANK YOU from the deepest parts of my heart, and rejoice with you, as I know that not only you will help me, but you will also give an opportunity to God to honor and bless you, because of His goodness and faithfulness!

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Luke 6:38

If you, at this time, are not able to support me financially, I want to extend to you an invite to pray for me as I go along, that God will open doors that no man can shut, and that He would close doors that no men can open. His will be done in my life, on earth as it is in heaven!

Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19

Whether you can support me with finances, or prayers, or BOTH, I want to say  T H A N K  Y O U!

The total cost of the internship is $6,005 UDS (you may check the website for the breakdown of cost at https://www.ihopkc.org/internships/onething/. ) Cost covers three meals per day, housing, classes, books, internship activities, and a T-shirt.

Thanks to GoFundMe, you can donate towards it from anywhere you are in the world!

You can make a one-time donation, or you can decide to be a monthly supporter to enable me to provide for expenses such as laundry, phone, personal supplies, and recreation. All donations exceedingly the required $6,005 will help towards these expenses, and the expenses I will have to do in Italy and to get to Italy (I estimated a total cost of $7,000.)

My application is currently being reviewed by the review committee, and, I received an email saying that I will be contacted in March for a phone-interview!!! If accepted, my acceptance will be conditional until I declare my financial documents. Once I do, my acceptance will be official, and they can ship my immigration papers so I can interview for an M-1 Visa at the American Embassy in Italy.

There is a long process ahead of me, and I need to make big plans and expenses such as buying a plane ticket to go back to Italy as soon as I complete my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. I will be done with my degree in May, so I should go to Italy in June and come back in the middle of July, to start the internship on July 20th. (It will be my first time going back to mom and dad since I left Italy in May 2016!!!)

I also need to make an appointment for an interview at the Embassy in Italy, and buy a plane ticket for that as well, because there is not an embassy in Sicily (where I am from.)

So, because I need to make all these steps, my faith statement is to have all the funds by Saturday, March 31 at 5pm CTS, so I can start purchasing all the plan tickets, book appointments, etc.

If, by the will and control of God, I will not ultimately be accepted to the Onething internship, I will restitute all donations to each donor. Because I am an international student, I need to go through this process and my acceptance is not complete until I declare all the funds.

If you feel led to take part of this journey, or you have any questions I would love to meet or chat with you!

If God, using each of you, will really provide for the full cost, and I will be an intern at IHOPU, it will literally be THANKS TO YOU, and GOD of course!!! I have no way of doing this without your support.

I will thank each donor by mailing your favorite Bible verse written by me using free-hand hand-lettering on a colored or white paper (you choose ) that you can frame, hang, or put in your car, Bible or refrigerator! Here is an example of one I recently made (sorry the picture is partially cut and the quality is not the best.):

Stay tuned, I will keep you updated!

Again, THANK YOU in advance for coming alongside me and God bless you!!!

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
