Hi there! My name's Kristoff, and I'm a transgender artist, activist, actor and aspiring beam of light. I was recently accepted to Columbia University through the Questbridge National College Match!
"There’s a million things I haven’t done
But just you wait"
I'm extremely excited to attend my dream college in New York City and build a brighter life for myself in a place I can have a farther reaching effect on the trans community through my art and activism. I am a volunteer illustrator for Trans Student Educational Resources (TSER) and the Sylvia Rivera Law Projet. Locally, I have served as Student Council President and helped to form our school's first LGBTQ+ awareness group. Due to a lack of support in my hometown, I am forced to travel an hour to our nearest trans community in order to connect and be of more service, such as creating and hosting open mic poetry events for the community to have a safe place to express ourselves.

Although my tuition upfront is covered through my scholarship, there are many hidden expenses my family is struggling to pay. First and foremost, we can't afford to get me there! Travel costs for myself and my loving mother and sister is a huge concern of ours, for both orientation events this coming April and getting to campus this fall. There are many other costs such as textbooks, enrollment and housing fees, and living supplies that we currently cannot afford due to our current living situation. Myself and my family are extremely grateful for any help. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! <3
