Many of you who know Kristin DeMaio, are aware that she is courageously fighting a rare cancer, Ewing's Sarcoma. This cancer is considered a childhood cancer, and is typically treated with chemotherapy and radiation. Kristin was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in the beginning of 2016. She bravely battled a long year of chemotherapy and radiation, always putting everyone else first, especially her children. As if this was not enough to endure, this is not the first hardship this family has faced. Kristin is the sole-provider for her three beautiful children, Michael, Kailee, and Taylor. Kristin's husband Michael, passed away unexpectedly seven years ago. This young family has already been through so much heartache.
Kristin completed her year long treatment in the beginning of 2017, with perfect scans. Unfortunately, in the Spring a scan revealed a recurrence. Kristin was then faced with surgery, more chemotherapy, and more radiation. As she was recovering from her surgery and beginning her new treatment for recurrence, scans revealed more cancer on her spine. Kristin is so strong, she is ready to fight. She has a long road ahead and will not be able to work. She will need all her energy to fight and beat this once and for all.
Kristin is such a selfless, ridiculously funny, kind, amazing human being. She would be the first to help anyone else in this difficult time. We want to ease her burden any way we can. We need your help. Please consider donating, any amount is so appreciated. Thank you so much!!!!
