NET Cancer awareness
Family & Friends July 2017 marks 10 years that I have been fighting Neuroendocrine Carcinoid Carcinoma cancer.
In celebration I am making efforts to raise awareness for Neuroendocrine Cancers and help provide resources for patients and families who are going through similar experiences that me and my family have gone through.
Your donation will go towards supplies for care packages for patients going through chemo, gift cards for families dealing with medical expenses from surgery, items to raise awareness of Neuroendocrine cancers, etc. Some of these things will include for example peppermints for patients going through chemo something that helped with the taste during treatment, hats for individuals who have lost their hair, neck pillows for long days of treatment, etc. I'm hoping to be able to receive donations from companies as well but will be getting grocery and gas gift cards for families dealing with medical expenses from scans and surgeries etc. Another main goal is to raise awareness for Neuroendocrine cancer! We will include a pin or some type of item in each care package to raise awareness for NET cancers.
We have secured the domain name "Kristineszebras.org" and will be posting updates on the site as we begin to deliver patient bags, network, raise awareness for the NET community, and give you updates about what is currently happening in my life with regards to Neuroendocrine cancer.
My hope is to really be able to develop this group to help provide patients and families with more support during such a difficult time. Thank you for helping these patients and families!
