Will you, as a person, as a company or as a group please help us to help our good friend Kristine Bøhler (38 of age), to raise enough money to go out of the country to get more efficient medical treatment.
Kristine got the deadly diagnose Amyotrofisk lateralsklerose 4th of august this year (2017).
In Norway the only medicine approved is riluzol (Rilutek), but in countries like Russia and Slovakia they are ahead of other countries according to new thinking and possible ways to find a cure.
A treatment will cost here 500 000 NOK approx. 65 000 dollar or 56 000 euro.
The story started last august when Kristine lost here feeling in her left leg, she contacted here local doctor, but nothing really happened. At Christmas time she gradually started to lose her voice, and the leg got worse.
In marts, she got sick leave from her job, and was taken in to region hospital for different tests. And then she was sent to Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet. And now after 4 months of tests and waiting she (and we all) got the terrible final message that she got the diagnose ALS.
Back home Kristine has her 5-year-old son Marius and her husband Magne Lund who is still hoping for the world to find a cure for ALS.
But in the meanwhile, Kristine will try to get medical care in foreign countries so she will have more time with her family.
