Help Kris Win Her 5yr Cancer Battle

First, I would like to introduce myself; I am Jason, Kristina's husband of, a very fortunate, thirty years. I am appealing, as a loving husband, to the community in the hope of garnering resources for the purposes of exploring alternative therapies that will offer my wife new hope, and, God willing, a cancer-free future.
The most heartbreaking chapter of her life began five years ago, on December 29th 2009. After a freak accident at Mount Zion, UT left Kris needing two painful surgeries and hardware to heal four badly broken bones in her right leg, a breast tumor, hidden until then, suddenly manifested a few weeks later. By February 2010, only a week after her 38th birthday, Kris was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer, meaning that the original cancer had metastasized. This essentially brought our life, along with its humble goals, to a devastating halt, leaving us, instead, with a daunting fight-for-life. After six months of grueling chemotherapy, hair loss, lethargy, and mounting debts, we got the news that the cancer in the liver and bones had not been completely eradicated, and that treatment, henceforth, would be ongoing. Well, five years later, along with at least a dozen different therapies, radiation and surgery, she is still in the fight, but she has fewer and fewer options.
As is a common consequence with western medicine, the therapies often leaves a more resilient cancer behind, which is harder to kill and more aggressive. At a certain point, the west runs out of treatment options. Kris is nearly at that point. The current chemotherapy she is on is the same she received her first six months. I am asking, as a loving husband, that you generously offer a helping hand to help my wife live.
Please help our thirty years together grow to sixty, and perhaps more. Alternative therapies are often not covered by insurance, and can also be expensive. Your contribution can give her a fighting chance at life.
Kris is a wonderful person, loved by all, who is loyal to a fault, who would give the coat off her back—which she has done—for anyone in need. She volunteers at her churches, sings in the choirs, adores her nephews and nieces, humbly nurtures and sustains her husband, is a loving spiritual mother and guide to her four godchildren, and carries, in her infectious laughter, a joyful spirit that enriches us all. Help us keep that spirit alive.
