Kristi & Will Hurricane Irma

Donation protected
On Sept. 6th Hurricane Irma, the largest hurricane in history, ravished St. Thomas USVI along with most islands in the caribbean. My sister Kristi and brother-in-law, Will, thankfully survived the hurricane. But their long road to recovery is just now beginning as they try to rebuild their home and lives.

The damage to their house and cars will be covered by insurance, however they will need money for living expenses as there is no indication when they will be able to return to their jobs. Both Kristi and Will are in the restaurant business in different capacities which rely heavily on tourism. With the island virtual destroyed, including their places of employment, there is no telling when they will be able to resume their normal lives.
It's a simple equation:
no infrastructure = no tourism = no jobs.

Unfortunately, their financial committments will continue for sometime without any income.  In addition to taking care of themselves, they have 4 rescue dogs and several feral cats they love immensely.  And in their true selfless and giving selves, they have opened their home, after the storm, to many friends less fortunate, which is taking a toll on their resources.

I'm asking that you consider helping them through this very difficult time as they rebuild their lives.

For those who don't know, I am Kristi's sister living in NC.  Please be assured that all funds will be directly deposited into her account to help with her and Will's ongoing recovery and living expenses.
