Kristen's Memorial Service

Beautiful Kristen Spriggs died suddenly at way too young an age on June 15, 2017. All who knew and loved her are in shock and great sadness at this tragedy. I am initiating this campaign so that her Mom, June Spriggs and her Mom's long-time partner, David Langley, my brother, can fulfill Kristen's wish to be cremated and can give her the honorable memorial service that she so deserves. She and her Mom were as close and devoted to each other as I could imagine any Mom and her only daughter (and only child) could be. Kristen spent many years helping David and June when they ran their day care center in Ann Arbor and more recently their B&B in Saugatuck, MI. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed life and always seemed to have a positive attitude and new visions for her future, even though her work life had many changes and challenges. She was sensitive and  loved working with plants, cared deeply about the environment and was creative and spiritual. She always seemed wise to me. As a long-time resident of Ann Arbor, I know she has many friends who will so miss her smiling pixie face, laugh, warmth, fun spirit and just being who she was. Please take this opportunity to express your Love and assistance to David, June and Kristen by donating what feels right to your heart. We all appreciate your kindness so much.
