Krishon's Cancer Battle

EDIT:  PLEASE READ!  If you came here to donate to Krishon's battle, please please consider searching the main gofundme site to find another family in need and donate to them instead!  We are so overwhelmed by the amount of support we've received from our family, friends and caring people we've never met!  We have suspended donations to our fund raiser as we feel we have received more than our fair share of generosity this holiday season.  Thank you to every single one of you who have donated and shared!

On October 18th my nephew Krishon was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  It's the most common type of childhood leukemia and is very treatable, however they later found he has a rare chromosomal abnormality that requires more intensive treatment.  He has to have 3 sets of 22 day in hospital treatment regimens with at home treatments in between and then out-patient treatments over the next 3 years.   He's just recently finished his first 22 day stint in the hospital and the bills are starting to roll in.  Most of the costs will be covered by insurance but some are not, and the copays on the medicines he requires are very high.  As most of you know him and his brother Kyree are in the care of thier grandmother Terri (my mother).  My two younger sisters also live at home and are able to help out quite a bit around the house and with the boys, but not financially.  I've set the campaign goal at $10,000, but I honestly have no clue of the true out of pocket costs associated with the treatments.  I don't expect it to be any less than $10,000 but if it is the remainder will go directly to Krishon because he deserves it.  He's already had so many battles at such a young age, now another will be piled on.  But they've made him strong and he will beat cancer too!  He's doing well so far and we are all very optimistic, he's responding to the treatments and trying to stay positive.  I don't expect all of you to be able to donate, but if you can please do, or if you know someone who can please share this.  Thank you!
