Hi everyone!
My name is Kris Tkatch and I am a first year medical student. A group of my classmates and I are going on a medical mission trip to Peru for two weeks to provide medical care to the underserved population.
The individuals in the areas we are going do not have regular access to healthcare and lack the most basic of services and resources. We hope to bring not only social awareness to this growing problem but also show the people of Lima and Cusco the hollistic and compassionate care they deserve.
I've always had an interest in international medicine and a desire to do Doctors Without Borders. This journey will build critical skills necessary in my field and in my interpersonal relationships.
Unfortunately, this trip is a little pricey, especially for someone in as much debt as I am. The total cost will be around $2400 not including the flight. Any donation would be sincerely appreciated and would be going to a truly good and humble cause.
