Kristine Wright Holcomb b nov. 22,1976 and passed away August 10, 2017. She left behind her life partner Kimberly Holcomb-Wright, a son Michael, and 3 step children Timothy, Taylor and William. Kris was a loving giving soul with a legacy of her works as a testiment to he spirit.
Kris dedicated her life to multiple charities and organizations including The Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts of America as a den leader, mentor and camp counselor with a focus on S.T.E.M. programs. She volunteered as a member of the Remains Recovery and Clean Up Team at Ground Zero after the 9/11 tragedy. She worked tirelessly with Helping Hands to address her concerns for those in need. She served with an open heart at First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville in any capacity where there was a need with a special focus on youth programs. Kris was extensively involved in the Keheley Elementary School including serving as Room Mother, the PTA leading several fundraising events plus acting as Swim Team Concession Lead for home meets one season. Kris continued her dedication to the school and PTA at Winn Holt Elementary School after moving to Lawrenceville. She was a strong supporter of the Southeastern Guide Dog Association functioning as an “Aunt” to guide dogs in training.
She passed away without insurance to cover her funeral expenses and other minor expenses. Kim has all this plus and is in need of help. I am her father and Kim has the burden of Kris's burial and along with grieving for her life's love.
Kim is going to need $7,000.00 to cover expenses by sept 15th. With this out of the way Kim will only have grief on her shoulders. Ple
