<div>Shelley was born with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), which is an incurable, degenerative eye disease, resulting in tunnel vision and night blindness. Despite her visual impairment, Shelley has never allowed her condition to affect her optimistic disposition and friendly personality.

<div>Though her livelihood is impacted, Shelley found comfort, strength, and independence in CrossFit when she joined her gym, Titusville CrossFit, in 2023. Through her dedication and support from her coaches and community, she was invited to the 2024 Adaptive CrossFit Games in San Antonio, where she finished in 8th place.

<div>This year, Shelley was again invited to the 2025 Adaptive Games in Las Vegas, where she will enter in the rank of 3rd place after her work in the semifinals. With the help of our friends and community, we would be sincerely appreciative of any assistance in getting Shelley to the Adaptive Games this September, where she strives to earn a spot on the podium.
