As the COVID-19 crisis grows, so do the adverse effects on the health and well-being of members in the St. Louis community. UKRAFT, Bertarelli Paper, 590 THE FAN, Birdies4Bipolar, and The Robertson Pecher Real Estate Team have teamed up to help those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bertarelli Paper and UKRAFT have partnered to provide low income, high-risk individuals with a Family Essentials Kit. This kit contains critical supplies such as hand sanitizer, masks , toilet paper, milk, eggs, bread, lunch meat, and a salad kit. UKRAFT will be delivering Family Essentials Kits and microwaveable meals to the doorsteps of homebound veterans, St. Louis families in need, and those suffering from addiction and mental illness.
"Social distancing and isolation can affect our emotional and mental well-being. The veterans in the St. Louis area are extremely vulnerable right now, and the additional stress and fear places people with addiction at high risk for relapsing." says Matt Ratz, owner of UKRAFT.
UKRAFT also allows donors the opportunity to thank the medical community and first responders for their heroic efforts during the COVID-19 crisis. They will be delivering meals to the hospital and homes of those working on the front line.
"We wanted to do our part to help those most in need, but we can't do it alone and will need the help of the St. Louis community," says Mike Ratz, co-owner of UKRAFT. "We encourage those who can donate to do so. Every dollar helps. We do ask that potential donors or corporate sponsors specify where they want their donation to go," he added.
