Change of Life

Things that get better with age: Whiskey, wine, cheese, blue Jean's, leather boots just to mention a few. I find myself having to make a career change late in life in order to have an income. I have had my work hours reduced by 50% which has devastated my finances. I will no longer have medical insurance after December 31, 2021.  I'm a good employee and a skilled practitioner. I have been a Nurse since 1994 and carried a 3.48 GPA while working a full time and part time job and raising my daughter. I do believe I am still viable, competent and capable. I have made application to attend our local Community College and become a Medical Transcriptionist with an RHDS Certification. Nothing will come close to replacing my Registered Nurse salary but I will be working full time hours and remain a contributing member of the workforce. If you can find a few dollars in your budget to help with this endeavor it would be greatly appreciated.  Signed "Don't count me out, Yet"
