Helping families in need

We are a group of Lebanese citizens that came together to help our fellow Lebanese living in dire conditions. The ongoing economic collapse, salary cuts, wrongful termination, the devaluation of the Lebanese currency, and the increase in domestic prices have left hundreds of families in severe poor conditions.They are unable to meet their basic food and shelter demands. Two days ago, a Lebanese indebted father committed suicide for his inability to give 1000 L.L.(50 cents) for his daughter, and his inability to pay the medical expenses for his wife. Today, another Lebanese father committed suicide for his inability to meet his basic family needs.

We seek your help.

We aim to donate TWO months of food donations to 200 families living in extreme poverty.

Each basket of food will cost 50 USD and it will include: flour, rice, beans, lentils, pasta, milk, oil, cream cheese, canned hummus and foul, canned luncheon meat, and tea

Goal
Raise 10,000 USD to support 200 families in need across Lebanon.

Plan
Identify 200 families to support from all over Lebanon using our networks.
Recruit a team of volunteers to support in packing and distribution of food baskets and payment of bills.
Provide each family with a food basket.

Transparency and Accountability

Keep a log book with information on each family, contact details and the kind of support it received.
Keep spreadsheet including all the costs, expenses and payments collected and paid.
Provide regular updates through different means including Instagram and Facebook.

Make all receipts, the log book and the spreadsheet available for donors and contributors.
