Jason's Melanoma Surgery

Hello everyone. My name is Jason Becker. I'm 33 yrs old, a husband and a father of two wonderful children. On January 7th I recieved some horrible news. After getting an examination on my back, I was told that I have Clarks Level III Stage 1 Melonoma skin cancer. Melonoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer. As of right now I know that it has penetrated 0.7mm into my skin. After speaking with my Oncologist he told me we need to remove it as soon as possible to prevent it from spreading to my lymphnodes and surrounding organs. I was sent to see the Surgeon and he explained the excision process to me. I recently lost my insurance coverage on December 31, 2014. I now have to pay out of pocket. The total for the surgery, use of the facility and Dr. visits will total around $7,500. In order for the Doctor to perform the surgury, I must pay the first $2,770.29 upfront. Unfortunatly, as the sole provider for my family, I cannot afford this payment or anything close to it. I have always been a proud man. Those of you who know me, know that I always do for others and am to proud to ask for help when I need it. Given my current circumstances I cannot let my pride stand in the way.
