Mark L. Gentry

Mark Gentry is a loving husband to his wife Lawanna, and father to his two beautiful daughters Ashley and Kristen. He is fighting an ongoing battle with heart disease and is in need of a heart transplant. In the near future he will receive an artificial heart and hopes to be placed on the waiting list for a heart transplant. This is going to be a long road to recovery for him and his family. He is currently at The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, where he is expected to remain for some time.

The Gentry's are very dear to my family and me; our parents met in college and have remained dear friends for over 30 years. We have shared many great memories and I hope to not only raise awareness for heart disease, but to also raise funds to offset some of the medical expenses that this family so dear to us will be faced with. 

Any amount that you can contribute will go towards medical expenses, travel, and accommodations for the Gentry family as Mark receives treatment and begins his road to recovery.
