<div>The Youth Section of the School for Spiritual Science fosters projects, encounters and programs and content with young people who are interested in anthroposophy. At its best the Section’s work awakens sensitivity for the human spirit and the living spirit in the great world. Young people around the world with many interests, projects, youth groups and initiatives make up the life of the Section.

<div>The Co-workers’ Gathering is a moment when representatives of youth groups from all over the world meet, help and inspire each other, and look forward to the coming years, projects and ways to collaborate and foster connections. Golden threads of inspiration and mutual support reach around the world, as we have experienced in many particular instances. The global, cosmopolitan character of the Section becomes visible during these gatherings.

<div>At the conclusion of the coworker gathering of 2023 the intention emerged to start a Youth Section Global Access Fund, to which every group or project affiliated with the Section contributed, no matter how much. We managed to raise over CHF 15,000 to support travel for the Co-workers’ Gathering of May 2024 in the Netherlands. While gathered together we explored ways this project could grow and strengthen the global network by not only raising funds for travel but also small grants, distributed through a social process, for projects carried out by individuals in the network. Next to financial support, the fund could also be a bridge to share expertise and knowledge between groups.

<div>Core values of the Global Access and Project Fund are:

<div>• All affiliated youth groups contribute towards the fund, however much they are able to, fostering a globally social spirit of solidarity in the Youth Section network.

<div>• The fund is a social, youth led project: co-workers carry out the fundraising and will develop a process for distribution of the funds. Ideally it will be social in nature and will unfold at the coworker gathering each year. While young people and groups will receive information about requesting support beforehand (be it financial or some other form), a dedicated circle will facilitate the greater process over the course of the gathering. Part of the outcome of their work will involve a distribution of the funds that have been raised.

<div>• The means that are available through the fund go towards travel support for the Co-workers' Gathering as well as projects that are carried out by the global network of the Youth Section.

<div>• The fund not only offers financial support, but is also a bridge to share expertise, knowledge and experience between co-workers and thus strengthening the network by creating relationships and sharing non-financial resources. 
</div>

<div>Between March 2025 and December 2025 this year’s fundraiser is underway, with a goal of gathering CHF 30,000.
