many many many thanks to all of you and your generous gifts
we have finally gotten a home nurse to come by and access our situation and get in place some needed help for both of us as we are so exhausted from just doing daily things! an occupational therapist comes today and I am hoping to get a pain management plan in place- poor thing hurts so much, it breaks my heart . Thank you everyone so much
your love and support get us through the day and help us to believe we will make it through this !
On May 15, our beautiful Rhiannon was struck by a moving car as she crossed the street after work that evening. She was carrying milky at the time as well. Milky the wonderdog flew through the air and was relatively unscathed . Rhiannon was slammed to the ground underneath a parked van. Both legs were shattered in the impact as well as crushed ribs. Many bumps and bruises and sprains . Our hearts are broken when we think of the pain she must endure on a daily basis as she recovers from this horrible accident.
It will be a long uphill battle as she is unable to put weight on her legs for 6 months, and faces many hours of physical therapy.
She has lost her independence, her apartment, and her ability to work
We sincerely appreciate any help to offset the huge expenses she has incurred.
