10-40 -Officer needs assistance!!

Mike Barrett had a life long dream of becoming a police officer. At age 42 Mike got his wish to reach that goal. Mike being the oldest recruit perservered and graduated in 2008 from the Wilmington Police in Delaware. Mike balanced his life dream with his wife  Cathy and 5 children as though it was always meant to be.  5 yrs into his career Mike required a surgery to repair his gun hand. Mike put the surgery off as to dedicate himself to becoming an outstanding officer for those first 5 yrs. During the surgery an accident occurred and Mike's gun hand was rendered useless. This shattered Mike's dream of having a long dedicated career to serving the communities of Wilmington. Mikes financial needs for he and his family are deeply suffering as he can not work and is in danger of foreclosure on his home. Due to Mike's short but dedicated career he has an extremely small income  and no health insurance to cover his now major medical needs. Mike dedicated himself to giving to others so now it's our chance to give back to Mike.
