Help Ginger Get Back On Her Feet!

July 1, 2018 started off as a typical day for Ginger, her kids and grand kids. They had just gotten back from a family trip to Disney World and Ginger wanted to take her grand kids and daughter to dinner. So they hopped in the car and away they went to what they thought would be another fun adventure. They never made it to dinner though because a driver on the other side of the road crossed into their lane and hit them head on.
Due to Ginger's quick thinking, she veered the car in a way that would reduce the impact on her grand kids in the backseat of the vehicle. Unfortunately, she sustained serious injuries and the EMS had to use the Jaws of Life to extract her from the car. Ginger, her daughter and grandson were immediately transported to separate hospitals. However, her daughter and grand kids all walked away from the accident because of her selfless actions.
Ginger's injuries are extensive. She suffered a broken hip, broken femur, broken ankle, broken arm, broken ribs and pieces of her spine were shattered. She underwent four surgeries in the trauma unit and is being closely monitored by a team of physicians.
Through all of the pain that she has been suffering, she has continued to stay positive and hopeful. We all realize how fortunate she is to be alive. She is still currently in the hospital and must stay there until she is moved to a rehabilitation facility in December. She is unable to put any weight on her legs and will have to learn to walk again when she is released to rehabilitation in December if all goes well.
We would like to help Ginger heal by providing funds towards her rehabilitation as she cannot work during this time. All money will go directly to her treatment and to help her get her back on her feet (literally) in the long, grueling months ahead.
