For those that may not know, Theo, an umpire in 12u took, a hit to the temple area of his head in the 3 o'clock hour today.  He was taken by ambulance to the Memorial hospital and he was released but was diagnosis with a concussion.  The initial appearance was not good with swelling that inhibited vision on the affected side.  He was released to go home but was told to stay home for the next week and to take it easy from work this coming week.

Having recently experienced the the cost of emergency room services with a daughter being in an auto accident, I can only image the costs that Theo may face with this visit to the ER.

 UPDATE: 
The head pain spiked and became unbearable to the point where he became disoriented. Theo went back to the ER and got another cat scan to make sure they didn't miss any bleeding in the brain. The doctor's found that there was several sollen blood vessels that were causing him to have severe concussion headaches.

In my eyes, Theo is one of the best umpires at SMGSL today.  He and his family need our support.
