Support Yudith And Her Family

Yudith is a wife and mother of six children whose husband has been detained by ICE. Yudith’s family has been the target of draconian tactics by ICE; agents pretended to be doctors in order to raid their home and detain her husband under these deceptive circumstances. He has lived in this area for over 20 years. Yudith and her family are under intense pressure with her husband detained. She is raising six children, one of whom has special needs, and she needs support to pay rent and keep the lights on, in addition to legal expenses for her husband.  We want to help make it so that Yudith can bring her husband home and that her family can get by in his absence.  Yudith’s situation is devastating. It is yet another example of how the destructive nature of ICE and US immigration policy can throw entire family’s lives into the fray. These funds will help meet her family’s needs  and help bring her husband home! Please consider donating! This fundraiser is being organized by volunteers of Sanctuary DMV, a DC-area based immigration solidarity network.  We are working together with Yudith and her family in order to raise money for their various needs.  The funds will be used to pay immediate expenses (rent, utilities, etc.) as well as to alleviate any legal costs in her efforts to bring her husband home.  All funds will be given directly to Yudith, without condition.
