129th Boston Marathon Run for Korean Presbyterian Church

Hi, we are Jinhan (진한) and June (주연), and we are so excited to take on the challenge of running our very first full marathon—and not just any marathon, but the prestigious Boston Marathon! Even more meaningful than crossing the finish line is the opportunity to support a place that has been a pillar of faith and community for decades.

The Korean Presbyterian Church in Greater Boston, located right at the start line in Hopkinton, has long witnessed the energy and determination of thousands of runners passing by each year. Beyond being part of this historic event, our church has served our neighbors, marathon participants, and elite athletes—offering hospitality and support over the years.

This year marks our 49th anniversary—our Jubilee year, a time of gratitude and renewal. To celebrate, we are raising $12,000 to support those in need across Greater Boston and strengthen our community outreach. While our church has always been a welcoming place, we want to take a step further in serving the underprivileged and expanding our mission beyond our congregation.
